Jasiri X Responds to Just A Minstrel Critics

This is a very interesting chat about the state of hip hop music from a politically and culturally conscious young man. I know this is not jazz but check him out. I am placing a link to the video he is discussing at the beginning of this video "Just a Minstrel". The video is very good. It has some profane language so I ddid not want to embed it on my blog but watch it. On my Editorial and Opinion blog I have an excellent, and I mean excellent Video "If The Tea Part Was Black"

It is good to see some young people who are using this idiom in a thoughtful manner.  Here is a link to Jasiri X's website.
