BRUSSELS: Belgian jazz pianist and arranger Francy Boland died at his home in Switzerland. He was 75. The high point of Boland's career was a big band that he led in the 1960s and '70s with American drummer Kenny Clarke, Belgian news agency Belga reported Friday.

He also worked as a songwriter and arranger for more famous jazz artistes including Count Basie and pop singer Gitte Haenning.
